Added 2024-10-06 01:57:09 +0000 UTCThe timing of things could not be any worse. Last night Sphynx and I noticed our cat Daisy was coughing a lot. We spent the entire night monitoring her before taking her in to a vet clinic for urgent care. We just got word that Daisy may be experiencing heart failure and we will have to closely monitor her over the weekend and possibly take her to a vet hospital if the coughing continues after she receives some treatment to clear the fluid in her lungs. She is expected to need a cardiogram right away and some blood work to figure out what is wrong. Please send us some well wishes on this endeavor as this has been a taxing experience for us, especially Sphynx as we may need to prepare for the worst.
As a heads up, Sphynx's mental and emotional health is in a rut and it will affect her as she interacts with everyone. Expect some activity to slow down along the way which include art and responsiveness. If you need to speak of the details please discuss them with me, otherwise just send Sphynx positive vibes, messages, patience, and whatever else can help her along the way.
