Next game project! The Age of Mirthology!
Added 2024-12-14 18:50:49 +0000 UTCSo, sometimes I look into the resources I have and go: 'Hey, I really should make a game using this tileset, it's really cool!'
And that was kinda the inspiration for this one.I saw these really cool Egyptian resources I had, and I wondered what kind of game I could build with them. I'd been playing Hades and God of War Ragnarok at the time, and I thought about merging the three altogether in a continental tickle war. Three mythological pantheons fighting sure sounds like Age of Mythology, right? It's a game I've never played (I gave it a try for research purposes when I had the idea for this game, but I'm not really an RTS fan, unfortunately), but I liked the concept.
Anyway, for the first mission, you'll be looking at the Norse War Council! The next two will be war councils too, and it was really fun to focus on compare and contrast, since those two will feel so different, trust me!
