Did Mei Chen perhaps receive some deeper insight into Xiulan's circumstance via qi/soul/blood transfer? Perhaps even some memories carried over?

I'd assume that Mei Chen is srill Mei Chen, but death erased some things also the "until my soul breaks free" and its repetitive use suggest different meanings. The first one probably when she was srill siffering in her warithful form. The second was when they finally awakened her. And the third suggests probably a future or maybe a wish. So I assume that Mei Chan will either be this hot flame burning brightly shortly even outshining the MC to die out (since we even got a soundtrack about her I'd argue anything less like slowly fading away wouldn't be satisfying enough) or she is still in need ti be saved (futerous adventures to save her again about to haopen)
