I don't like Dennis Quaid 😂 I'm assuming your reaction was political, if that's it then I completely understand I'm a proud Democratic Socialist in full support of the LGBT community me being Bi myself so yes!!!! I don't like him either. This film is so epic and younger Elizabeth Sparkles is so breathtaking it's difficult to watch sometimes lol. I would still inject myself with that shit, I'm the biggest reject when it comes to getting women and it's because they find me ugly so yeah I would, I mean I don't think everyone would abuse it like Sue.

Great songs, and can immediately see why the Sue workout and construction stuff makes think of this. Seen others say the same so not just me lol.Oh and not related but for another wtf type movie. Watch Nicolas Cage Mandy movie. Very unique, Seen on Halloween cpl back. Insane movie sorta feels like fell into an Iron Maiden album cover. Magical surrealism horror beauty poetry darkness. MUST see if haven't fellas!

Last film I heard won Oscars, so I think, was Silence of the Lambs. Like I said, the Oscars need to be diverse to EVERY movie genre!

I used to be a dancer/stripper/model and it transformed me - I was the most (conventionally) hot and sexy as I could possibly be and I OWNED it. Watching my body change has been more difficult than I imagined - especially after having kids, which I think can be an interesting take on the themes. She literally splits open horribly/painfully to birth this younger/better version of herself, sacrificing her beauty and youth only to resent her. But each time I look at an older picture and think to myself "you bitch, you had no idea how hot you were!" I remind myself that 20 years older-me will probably say the same thing about today-me. Which they did a great job of depicting in this as well. OMG sorry I could talk for hours about this movie which is looking high up on my favourites list! Amazing reaction, thanks so much!

This one has Margaret Qualley, daughter of Andie McDowell who was in St. Elmos Fire with Demi Moore. And Mya Hawke is in Stranger Things with Winona Ryder who was in Reality Bites with Ethan Hawke. I know it’s nepotism at its finest but it’s kinda cool to me.

A movie has never made me physically ill before, but something about these images on the big screen with the squelches and gurgles in Dolby Atmos... I had to excuse myself from the cinema after that final transformation for a breath of air. Not even kidding. One of the greatest cinematic experiences of my lifetime!

I’m not HOH but I have auditory processing “quirks” that make it really hard to distinguish voices talking over one another, and subtitles make that way simpler (plus I watch them with everything). All that to say thanks for keeping us subtitle users in mind, even in the midst of technical difficulties! 🖤

I don't think what either of them ate while "active" had any effect on the other body. - That was Margaret Qualley under all those ElisaSue prosthetics. They wanted you to be able to see it was one of the actors, rather than a stunt person, and Demi tried but couldn't physically handle it. - This movie is SO RICH on rewatch. For example, pay attention when the color blue is used. Pretty much every time it's used, it's for someone who people want to be invisible. Elizabeth's workout suit is blue just before she's fired, Harvey's assistant is wearing blue, Elizabeth puts on a blue scarf in her final attempt to get ready for her date, etc. Even Sue, at the height of her popularity, is in a light blue dress -- as if she's already on her way out of favor. - There is nothing more heartbreaking and relatable than the scene where she gets ready for the date. And Fred turns out to be really sweet and considerate, asking if she's okay and assuming something must be wrong (rather than turning on her and calling her a bitch).
