2025-06-24 01:11:00 +0000 UTCLoved rewatching with you two fabulous people! As a fun detail -- you can see that Delia is on the cover of ART IN AMERICA at the very end. Also, Tim Burton considered having Barbara and Adam stay wet (ahem) the entire time since they drowned, but felt it would be too unfair to the actors (I agree). I love how everyone in this wasn't a huge star yet -- but they all became huge stars afterward -- Davis, Baldwin, Keaton, Ryder, and even O'Hara in her awesome art-house way. Also, I love Schitt's Creek beyond the telling, and was a sobbing mess through the finale. In the best way.

Mother off exactly as you said. I'm not completely blind though. I do know and love the musical so I know a bit. One thing in the musical I love is that they made Beetlejuice have bi-sexual tension with the Maitlands and kiss Adam which is iconic.

The writer of Beetlejuice was a wonderful and beloved LGBT man named Michael McDowell who wrote about Wynona Ryder's character previously in a book named 'The Elementals'. He was a close personal friend of Stephen and Tabitha King. Sadly he passed from HIV 25yrs ago. He wrote a serialized novel called Blackwater. Stephen King was later inspired by Blackwater's format to write the serial novel The Green Mile. He was groundbreaking in horror, and he has more than Beetlejuice in his film credits. He also wrote and published LGBT fiction before it was OK to be Gay. Tabitha would later finish his last novel for him called 'Candles Burning' which was released posthumously about a decade ago. He was also a Southern Man, and having resided in the South as a child, I absolutely love how he transports me to the Gulf everytime I read his work. Also, I am a new fan of you two and fresh to the Pumpkin Patch, but I am binging your content like a champ. I was raised by two Moms and identify as demi/pansexual. I am in the middle of a heartbreaking divorce. I am remodeling my Aunt's house and I am alone with my thoughts and heartbreak while I flip this house, but YOU TWO ARE LITERALLY SAVING MY LIFE!
