2025-10-20 17:21:41 +0000 UTCI absolutely love complex characters like Sanemi it gives me room to try and figure out for myself why he makes such actions or says “cruel” things. But, in his own way even when they’re older he’s trying to protect Genya but obviously doesn’t do it in a way someone typically would! But their backstories definitely help understand them just a bit more to make certain connections! (Sorry I was ranting lmao 🫶🏻)

My favorites are Doma (I just can’t resist his voice, his looks, and his personality), Akaza (no words needed), and Gyutaro and Daki (no words needed either). All the Upper Moons are unique, so I like all of them except Upper Moon 4. I don’t like him because when the anime revealed his past, I thought he wasn’t bad but he actually is. He doesn’t think he’s wrong and keeps blaming something else. That mindset is why I don’t like him 😶🌫️😶🌫️

Most people would also kill her, if they were in his place because Sanemi had never seen a demon like Nezuko, especially a newly turned one. Of course, all Hashira thought Tanjiro was just trying to protect his sister with lies. If we were in the Demon Slayer world, and a boy said, “She’s my sister, she didn’t eat any humans,” it would be hard to believe especially when Sanemi had to kill his own mother to protect his family. After that tragic, Sanemi also used to drink alcohol but quit because he didn’t want to be like his father. We can all see how Sanemi was a good son and big brother when he was young, so yeah, Sanemi is the second strongest 😎
