Variant Question

How important are the gag variants to your monthly pledge?
I ask this because I think they make great incentive for the Goblin and Kobold tiers, and have no intention of stopping them, but they can really slow things down. The reason I don't do more comic pages is because I feel they should have variants too, so I end up putting them off because it's so much more work. Though when I DO make comic pages, nobody seems to mind.
The current drawing I'm finishing up now would have been done a day ago, but I don't think people will be as happy with the "main" gag and would prefer the options.
I'm rambling at this point, but your input is very welcome!
(Also this doesn't really apply to the bonus pics each month, just the gag variants).
