Added 2015-09-05 17:48:37 +0000 UTCHi everyone. Just a quick warning about this month's insider that it's an hour long video recording of me rambling in a completely unenthusiastic, monotone voice. The reason why it's in this format is because there are many things I needed to show in order to make sense, and I needed to articulate a few matters so I could hear for myself whether they were going to work or not. This really isn't so much a presentation piece than it is a sad little exercise for myself to figure out how best to deal with the slew of story issues I'm currently facing.
I only recommend watching the video if you're curious as to how messed up and convoluted my mind is (and how often I go, "UM"...), or you're having difficulties sleeping at night and need something to knock you out fast. Otherwise you're probably going to waste an entire hour of your time on this one. (You've been warned.)
Most of the extensive story and comic format changes are covered in detail in this video upload, and you'll probably see why I'm stressed and not spending a whole lot of time on social media these days, if any of what I've recorded actually makes sense. (I face-palmed a couple of times when I realized how insanely confusing the story elements actually are...)

Yeah there had been many fundamental story issues with the initial plan I had. I've been going over a lot of changes and I'll probably have some new updates to share. Thanks for writing in btw!

2015-09-11 16:24:06 +0000 UTCI like the revised version better, the story does seem a little complicated. I feel like there's not much build up between the two, after the macro fight it all feels like resolution. Maybe you could make the fight longer and have PS get involved, distracting the kaiju while Snares is knocked down. Or maybe make Snares more resilient to spending time with PS, like he knows who he is and thinks he just wants his body, but after realizing no one is around that he does have true feelings for him. Also, I don't see a problem with PS acting so depressed. He seems like a dramatic character that would be emotional about not getting what he wants. Last thing is I don't like the ending that much. If PS lost his memories completely then there wouldn't be any conflict or character development, maybe have it be temporary because he was in shock from drowning, idk. These are just things I was thinking atm. I'm glad you took all that time to remake the entire comic. It should be a pretty fun story no matter how it is in the end.
