I'm not dead I swear

Heeeey lovely Patrons, I'm here.

I'm really sorry for disappearing, I really don't like missing updates or my deadlines. Reason for me vanishing was that I burnt out really hard last week. It was building up for sure, all those late nights getting posts done in time, taking on extra work, waiting for money to come in...

And the fact that I was barely touching my film project, I kept putting everything else in front of it, and the guilt and annoyance from that just got to the point where when I put my pen to the tablet to draw, it's like I was facing a brick wall. My muse, my flow, my ability just shut down and I couldn't draw. I had completed the sketches for the thank you drawings, but once I started trying to do the outlines, they were just horrible. And that's not the artist stereotype 'oooh all my stuff is shit' thing we like to do, but honestly, it was lacking the vibrancy and life I try to put into all of my work. So I just had to listen to what my brain was trying to tell me, put my pen down, and step away from my desk for a while.

I was hoping I could do all of it, but I need to be realistic and fair to myself and my work. At the moment, I need to simplify what I have on my plate and prioritize the things that have a stern deadline and are furthering my animation career. 

~BUUUUUUT~

I don't think I will have to take a break too long! I currently have a gig doing some illustration for a short film, and am tutoring at my old school, and both of these things will only last for a month or two more. Once these things are out of the way, that is going to free up a bunch of time for me. And knowing how I was making my last film, drawing smut was a necessary palate cleanser that I did on the side.

Plan going forward, I will pause billing for the next couple months, finish the thank you drawings this month to get to you lovely peeps, and keep you in the loop as to my work schedule. Ideally, I will be able to pick up Patreon come May, fingers crossed!

Thanks for your support, it is still so sweet and amazing that you guys like my smut enough to help me out. Having this Patreon really has pushed me to improve my craft and not be afraid of sharing my work, so I'm eternally grateful for it. I will absolutely be coming back, so feel free to peruse my stuff here as you please, and I'll be seeing you in the future!
