Steppe

Hello everyone! For the 1st map of September, here is the Steppe, another great collaboration with Michael Ghelfi Studios!

Steppes are mesmerizing, and pretty challenging to convert to a battlemap, at first you may think "well, its just a lot of grass and rocks scattered around!", but a big part of what makes them so beautiful is their sense of scale and vastness, snowy peaks and rock formations in the horizon, clear blue skies or massive storm clouds; a lot of these things are hard to convey from a top-down perspective, but the GM's description paired with amazing ambience goes a long way to complement it! -- And so I'm very happy to have collaborated once again with MGS, who provided amazing sounds for this map including versions for the night, shrine and geysers variations, a running river, distant thunderstorms, and much more!
