They still sell the TSBT (Taylor Swift Baby Taylor) with her design around the sound hole. She used a regular one on the tour bus, so likely a lot of Speak Now was written with it. The koi fish guitar is part of a year 2K limited edition of 1000 guitars; there were 10 patterns of inlays, different colors, with 100 of each pattern. A blue one like hers sold for an insane amount on Reverb 4 or 5 years ago. It was called "Living Jewels" by Taylor Guitars.

I love y’all freaking out about her playing a Taylor guitar lol. They actually released a baby Taylor guitar back in the day for Taylor Swift as she used to exclusively play them. She might still but I’m not a guitar person so never checked. I just know my cousin was ecstatic one Christmas to get a Taylor swift Taylor guitar.

All of her costumes have the pack custom made into it. And trust me, we’ve all talked about it way too much soo many times 😂 . Everytime she has issues with her in ears. She wrote long live after her first stadium show at Gillette on the fearless tour, written for her band, and it quickly morphed into also being for the fans.

I don't know if it has been said, but JT picked up on a Cinderella-y vibe. Originally she wanted to name the album after the song sung in here (Enchanted), but her producers at the time thought it was too childish so they made her change the title track. But if you look closely through this entire album, there are motifs of fairytales. Long Live has the fighting dragons, Enchanted is just a fairytale in general, Superman talks about her finding love in a man that "saves the day" (we don't like him, but my point still stands and Castles Crumbling also has that motif in the title itself, especially when you relate to her feeling like her kingdom (fans/band/singers) from Long Live are crumbling and her fairytale is ending

Love watching all of your reactions! They are so fun and I love your commentary and learn something new about the musicality of it all every time. But I have a request of you- can you please explain how the metronome works for everyone on stage to keep on beat and on time with the instruments and vocals. When you are playing on stage and that is in your ear do you hear the actual song? Do you actually get to enjoy the whole song while you are playing it, or do you approach a song as individual parts you have to play? It's truly fascinating to me and I can't even comprehend how this works. Would love to know more of what you experience on stage while playing an instrument. Thanks!

I got to see the Eras tour before Long Live was cut. It is probably one of the most joyful, uplifting moments of the whole show, the crowd's energy is so powerful. Like seriously, people were crying and hugging. I got choked up too just from the energy in the room! This album isn't in my top 3 but this Era live was top 3 if not my favorite on vibes alone. I agree w the nostalgia/smiling Taylor. I feel like it's because she gets to play alongside her full band again. Her later music doesn't really allow for that and most of them have been w her since she was a teen/early 20s ; she seems so happy whenever she gets to play w them. I would LOVE it if an album in the future is a rock, americana or country album w the full band front and center. 🤞

My eras tour show was the night of the speak now TV release. She said it was the first of many album releases during the tour. People were on edge because they knew something special was going to happen. The blue koi fish guitar was originally used during the SN tour as others have said and it’s been sitting in the country music hall of fame (I believe) for years. A week or so before the show the guitar went “missing”. She performed long live for the first time at our show. Everyone cried and screamed. It was insane!! She kept it in the set list until the start of the European shows then removed some songs (including LL) to make room for the tortured poets era. The koi fish guitar is now safely back behind glass. Lol

The bridge of Long Live gets me every time. She wrote that at 19 as a love letter to her band and fans after getting hate for winning AOTY, thinking her success wouldn’t last very long and making the most of the tour she was on. Now here she is, 13 years later as the only artist in history to win AOTY four times, with the “band of thieves in ripped up jeans” still by her side and those children she sang about the fans one day having, they’ve grown up listening to Taylor’s music, becoming fans and are now coming along to enjoy the biggest tour in history ❤️

Speak now will always be my era. Went as it for my first eras tour concert (reputation on my second). I was 16 when this came out and it was my entire personality as a teen. So i love that you gave it its own time 💜 It is definetly that loud irl. I’d say they mute the audience during songs actually and just let us hear it in between songs. Oh yeah the crowds cheer that loudly and between songs! In Seattle, we registered earthquake-level seismic activity. It made the news lol. Also Long Live was written about her experience touring and having such success with the Fearless album, with her thinking that might be the pinnacle of her career and this amazing anomaly. So it's emotional to watch her say things like "Cause for a moment, a band of thieves, In ripped up jeans got to rule the world," because her success not only continued, but got so much bigger than little baby Taylor could have ever dreamed.

What’s so special about this era is that she hasn’t gone through the trauma with Big Machine, losing her masters, hasn’t been subjected to Kim/Kanye for a decade and her breakup with Joe. She’s still in her “naive” and has rose colored glasses on. It’s painfully obvious to see what she’s been through and how much it changed her music and mindset. Whatever and whenever you want to do her eras, you can’t lose. We’re here for all of it. She is remarkable in all of her eras. Thank you for being so thoughtful and loving with her music. Long live will always have a special place for Taylor and the fans. It was written for her bandmates and the fans specifically, thanking them for the incredible journey she had already been on with them. I love that song so much and it was a surprise add when Speak Now Taylor's Version released. Also, can confirm that everyone is cheering and singing the whole time. Post production actually cut almost all of the crowd noise out because it gets so loud you can't hear her at times. I saw her in LA a few nights after this was filmed and it was a roaring crowd for sure. She got an 8 minute standing ovation after Champagne Problems on my night. And then everyone lost their minds when she announced 1989 Taylor's Version that night.

YES. Lol there was a very very short pause between Enchanted and Long Live so they can give her the guitar and fix the mic stand. But the most crazy thing is she can go from one era to another in less than 5 minutes like 3-4 tops! It was insane!!!

Respect for Speak Now. My favorite album from her earlier work. Long Live will be played at my funeral and at 57 a quote from the song was my first tattoo to honor her and my wife (with whom I am fighting dragons for 35 years now). Originally a song to honor and celebrate her band and fans but the message can be projected to our lives as well.
