2025-05-04 09:11:03 +0000 UTCWhat a potent draught this was. As you said, stunning performances of a truly deep story. I was surprised to learn Jeff Bridges didn't get a nomination for his. It was well played throughout. Robin did get a nomination and Mercedes (Anne) won an Oscar. Amanda Plummer (Lydia) was in Pulp Fiction. I wondered how much of Robin's dialogue was ad-libbed, he keeps coming up with so many witty responses.
