I'm still searching for a good copy of my grail portrait lens, the Contax-Zeiss Planar T* 85mm f1.4, but it is more of a game than a true necessity.
The humble Nikon 85mm f2 AI-s is ore than enough to make justice of a diva like Martina, you need nothing more to make her shine.

The strive to do things better is admirable in every case, and should always be encouraged, but only if it is not an excuse to postpone results.
You should never wait until you feel ready or properly equipped to do something, you should start your project as soon as possible, there is always time to improve later on.
And you should never cease to improve your technique, by learning new things or trying new equipment.
Do whatever it takes to keep fueling your passion, albeit in my case taking pictures of nude ladies is already a huge motivation in itself 😉
