Fine tunings.

Finally managed to remove the first lens from the new Camera and have been experimenting on Sunday with the mighty Nikon 135mm f2 Defocus Control.
It is a difficult lens to use because of the longer focal length, but I found another help selecting the Acros BW film simulation, and this is letting me see the red focus peaking inside the electronic viewfinder much better.
This is something I was doing already on the Leica SL2-S, but when you get acquainted with a new camera, it is like starting from scratch, and I didn't remember what I learned before on other cameras...
I also finally remembered my eyes are not perfect, and that I needed to adjust the dioptric setting inside the viewfinder, and I also slightly increased the brightness.
Now, the experience inside the viewfinder improved tenfold, and is nearly as pleasant as the one in the Leica SL2-S... nearly.

The Leica is a much better camera for design and materials, making for a better experience altogether, but the GFX has the edge from a technical point of view, and addresses 2 issues I always lamented with the Leica:
- ISO can be finely tuned in third of stops, and
- focal lengths can be dialed in to the precise value you need (and you're not restricted to the list of existing Leica M or R lenses).

Now I regret not having had this potentials at my disposal for some of the older models, like Karina (in this photo).
Even if I must say the Leica SL2-S has done a great job with this elegant model.
