I didn't make the rendering too complex for this one, but keeping it "simple" helped me see how my fundamental understanding of rendering has really improved.
For comparison, take a look at this from 2017 :
At the time, I didn't know much about anatomy so I used a 3D model for the pose and I didn't know enough about rendering to even try to render anything, which is why I didn't. What I *did* know is that I wanted to start, and this would be my starting point. The rest is history !
