Some heartfelt thanks, and updates about works in progress !

Hello everyone ! I hope you are all doing good and that Life is not being too hard on you...

So, we don't celebrate Thanksgiving here in France, and I don't really know if all of you do, but I wanted to take a minute to express my gratitude to all of you. (And also let you in on some of the things I am currently working on.)

You may have seen how 2022 has been a pretty tough and discouraging year for a lot of artists all over the world; from the rise (and fall) of N.F.T. scams, the recent push for A.I. art based on our work without remuneration, credit or consent, and one of the most efficient networking platform ever being "compromised" to say the least... Well, I think it is important to express how much your support mean to us. And not just now, but every time you followed, subscribed or commissioned an artist, as trivial as it may seem sometimes, you make someone's dream a little more real. So, thank you infinitely for that !

• WIP #1:

It has been five years since I started drawing and posting under the name "Grand Sage" and for this occasion, I thought a little side by side comparison of my current level and the level I started at would be neat. I was still working in an advertising agency as a graphic designer in 2017, but I wanted to be able to draw pinups. There is still a lot I want to improve in that regard, but I am proud of what I've learned since then. So yeah, I've only sketched it for now but expect some Morrigan soon !

• WIP #2:

Having moved twice in less than a year has been kind of tiring and one of the things I've missed the most was being able to compose some music. But I've managed to get myself some time, energy and inspiration for this recently, so I don't know if it will be out "soon" but I'd say it is pretty close to being done !

• WIP #3 :

Now this, I cannot show. The client and I have agreed not to show anything until it is done and working, but I can tell you a few things about it. It is a "graphic design" project more than an "illustration" one, but it will be about art, pinups, SFW and NSFW. (If you happen to follow @Antsstyle on Twitter and some of the projects they're working on, you may have an idea of what I'm talking about.) So yeah, it's not exactly and NDA thing, but I don't want to share more about it than them, since it is their project after all.

I am also starting to sketch some things for a possible follow-up to my Hololive X Jean-Paul Gaultier drawing (I had a pretty cool idea for Gura) and there is also a few things I am thinking of changing about my art overall. But I will probably make another post in the following days/weeks to ask your opinion about this.
