Important News ! (Feels like déjà-vu.)

Hello everyone, I hope you are all doing OK !
I am once again making a ‘News’ post to inform you that I will be pausing my Patreon for the month of August (and perhaps September too, but I’m hoping it won’t have to be the case.) I’ve already let some of you know about it, but I wanted to give more details as to why and make sure everyone is aware :

I am moving again.

"What ? Again ? But you just moved like, last year !"

Yes, that’s true. But this time, it is different !
Last year I moved with my parents, we sold our apartment and bought a house. We had to bring all of our stuff and furniture, all while renovating said house and while dealing with a ton of legal issues… You might remember the chaos from back then, and how long I had to pause drawing as a result.

This time however, I will be moving in with my girlfriend, with whom I have been in a “Long Distance Relationship” until now. To give a little context : She’s been working in the same company since I met her and… Well, her workplace and work conditions have dramatically worsened over the last months. And I do not mean that lightly, the financial and psychological pressure my girlfriend has to deal with around these idiots is astounding. Which is why we started looking if there wasn’t another company where she could work at, with a similar job description. Which wasn’t easy, because there are not many jobs available in her field.

We eventually managed to find one in a new place, who seemed very enthusiastic about having her join their team. They’re smaller than her current company, they pay more and aren’t located in Paris (which drastically lowers the cost of living), they offer more diverse and interesting tasks… All in all, it's quite the perfect opportunity.

The only tiny problem is; this job is basically at the other side of our country, and while it is a great occasion to reunite and start living together, we will both have to move pretty fast around August for her to be able to start the job in time (first week of September.) The timing is not the best, I barely got to recover financially and emotionally from my last move that I already have to dive straight into another one, and we haven’t even been able to visit any apartment yet (confound these landlords and their incoherent requirements.) Which is kind of stressful, but it still shouldn’t take as much time and be as problematic as my last move was.

I’m confident a month should be enough time for both of us to move properly (granted we can find and at least visit a place soon enough) because we’ll only be renting and not buying or selling, and we don’t have a lot of stuff and furniture to carry with us. But having learned a lot from last year’s class on Murphy’s Law, I want to be as careful as possible and let you people know that if anything goes awry, I may not be able to pick everything back up at the start of September. I’m hoping it won’t be the case, and I will do everything I can to resume everything as soon as I can set up my computer and tablet again, but I’d rather not make any promises.

I’ll still try to post some drawings and updates every once in a while during this short hiatus, and I would also like to be able to finish Laura Matsuda's drawing before leaving but I definitely won’t be able to follow with Character Polls, Original Files, and Monthly Sketch Commissions for a moment (hence why I’d rather pause everyone’s billing until I can resume everything.)
