Hi Lusties!! I hope everyone's week is off to a good start, aside from this chapter haha, because it 100% broke me for the both of them.

It's a complicated situation because we're in Liberty's pov and we know that she wants more, but how Monroe felt about this was completely overshadowed, and a little of her perspective was shown in this chapter.

She's been chasing Liberty and giving her all the control, as she said, which is clearly troubling Monroe. She tried to give numerous warnings from the beginning about what she could and couldn't give Liberty. We're also aware that her past plays a role in this, so this could've potentially been triggering for her.

I do feel for Liberty, especially because she deserves more if that's what she wants, but we also can't disregard Monroe's side. As Liberty internally said, Monroe clings to her control like a safety blanket, and Libs tried to take it away from her, thinking it would go a different direction, but Ro pulled away in response.

It's 100% sad for Liberty because she expected that Monroe would never leave her alone, so she pushed further than she normally would. She went to greater lengths without expecting something like this, especially without a warning.

I'm on both sides because I see the different perspectives, but I'm curious to see what side you guys would choose if you had to. Feel free to leave all your opinions and thoughts below... book club is officially in session<3
