Love it! Does that new prisoner have a droid assigned to him as a parole officer with a babysitting setting?

Season 2: The New Republic realizes that the "legendary" planets aren't just legends, so they contract Kh'ymm to work with the kids who have been to TWO of the planets to find the others and bring them into the Republic (along with all the capital they may contain). In the second episode they come across a clue that requires Force sensitivity to solve, and it just so happens that the New Republic has a new prisoner that needs to build up some Good Behavior time.

I absolutely enjoyed that episode. A great episode in its own right, and a very satisfying ending to the series. A masterclass in writing, directing, and acting. This episode did a great job of paying off just about everything from earlier episodes - the window above the bath, the hoverbikes, the big gun (of course), etc. And, in the previous episodes, the "crew" of kids showed they could work as a group, while in this one, they showed they could be successful working separately but in concert with each other - Neel going to the gun, KB flying the ship, Fern standing off with Jod, Wim helping his dad get the power on, etc. Also, I was pretty much only focused on the kids, because they are certainly the heart of the series. I didn't need other extraneous things explained. The info we got - the supervisor explaining that they got a last message about the Jedi, Jod's backstory, what Fara knew, etc. - was certainly enough for me as answers to how this all transpired with the hidden planet, for this show. I didn't need more than that to be connected or explained in this show. Plus, the X-Wings, B-Wings and Corvette showing up as the "real good guys" was joy-inducing for me, I didn't need a named character to be in any of those ships for now. All of those things that could have happened would have been fun, but were certainly not necessary for my enjoyment of this amazing series. As you say, they can live in books, comics, other shows or seasons, etc.

Man this show was a delight. Also I kinda like that it takes place (so far) outside of all the major lore.
