Superman & Lois 1x03 Uncut

What's up homies. We're experimenting with leaving commercials breaks in the episode and allowing that to be a moment for us to discuss. But, if you prefer we clipped the breaks out, please let us know so we can adjust accordingly. Still trying to get a handle on these TV cuts.

Thanks!

when do you guys start watching the extended version of this series? Thanks in advance!

Anthony Jackson

I love how clever the title of the episode is. "The Perks of Not Being a Wallflower." It really embodies how the two kids as well as Superman aren't invisible to everybody and it is in a negative way. Also, I'm so glad that you guys switched to watching the CW show extended cut because it sucked having to pause you guys to wait for the ads to end!!

Guys remember Jordan has severe anxiety disorder. So do I. To me, really small problems feel like the end of the world. Someone being wrong or doing something I don’t like feels like a huge betrayal. When you have incredible anxiety everything is dialed up to 20. That’s why Jordan is so mad all the time.

leaving the adverts in really messes with the sync, have to pause and resync way more.

I'm noticing that Clark's go to parenting move is "Come here, let me show you something".

The privacy issue, is always important for teenagers. And yes it would feel like a huge betrayal to find out your Dad could be hearing and seeing you do everything or anything. God!. But what wasn't stated, but also has to be a HUGE issue for Clark. Clark from the get go, as to be aware of the fact that at any time one of his enemies could learn the truth and that puts his kids in extreme danger. So yeah, sorry Clark is going to keep tabs, period. And this is long before Jordan has powers. But how do you have that conversation with your kids that oh at literally any minute someone might kill them. Talk about trauma.

The Actor who plays Kyle is half hispanic (son of a cotton farmer), I assume they are incorporating that into his character. The actess who plays Sarah, has a parent who is hispanic/American Indian. I have assumed by an interview that he can that briefly mentioned them talking his own experiences into parts of his character.

Also: I think there's an issue with the timer after the 2nd ad-break. The break begins at about 16:45, but afterwards the timer starts back up at 09:10.

Are the interspersed YouTube-MiniAds intentional? ^^ Because that messes with sync even more than the missing scene last episode. ;)
