I will try to keep this post short and to the point.
I am still working on the episode 02 of "Star Channel 34". Oh, yes... Star Channel... That little game I created with the sole purpose of running an ongoing project that I could update regularly and frequently without having to work on it 24/7...
And here we are 8 month in development and I still can't release the second update... Fuck me... :(
That being said, you should know that I am not considering this normal, and will be making one of my major goals for the Episode 03 to make it as short as possible...
These long development stages are to much stress for everyone. Plus I specifically wanted to make small frequent (once in a few months) updates, and I am failing at it again and again and it pisses me of to no end. I just wanted you to know that.
I wanted you to know that I do plan to change things around, and I will keep on trying...
For now though, it is what it is. Episode 02 has been in development for more then a half a year now... But it will translate into more content of course, so no worries there.
That being said, I am nowhere near ready to release the thing yet. Sadly...
As always I can't give you any specific release dates... But I could describe (vaguely) the current state of affairs here at the lab.
Yesterday I finished working on the last big portion of the content. At this point I am (mostly) done with the writing and (mostly) done with the coding and (mostly) done with the drawing... Very soon I plan to give the entire episode the first play through test run. During which I am sure I will discover a whole bunch of things that do not work properly but this is nonetheless is a huge step towards the release-ready version of the game.
As soon as I am done with the preliminary testing I will start sending parts of the game to Lyk for editing and proofreading of the in-game texts. In the meantime I will start working on the sound and music. Luckily there is not much sound involved, but making sure music fits the mood of every scene is a time-consuming task as well...
Finally when I am done with all that I will test the game one more time to make sure everything looks and sounds right... And as soon as I am done with that I will be able to start thinking about the release date.
I also will try to make sure that it takes me less then a month to make another post.
Thank you for your support, guys. You rock, and I hope you know that. There are so many things I want to talk to you about, but it just never feels like the right time. Well, maybe after the Episode 02 release...
For now, I just want you to know that I appreciate your patience and your support. Next update is coming soon.

Not only am I fluent in 5 languages, so I know the kind of grammatical and sentence word-order errors people with English a Second Language make, but I've got a B.A. and M.A. in English.

I don't mind the grind so much, but grinding just for the sake of grinding is a little off-putting. That doesn't stop me from playing though, so please keep up the good work. Only posting this message in hopes of offering help. I'm a mobile developer by degree, but would love to help with coding if that was a possibility. I work on a Mac so I can test and troubleshoot the app on that platform as well. English is my only language (and I've found a few grammar errors while I was playing through) so I can offer assistance as an additional proofreader. Don't want to sound needy or judgmental, you are making sweet games and your graphic skills are top notch. PT-GE is amazing and I want to see more of Azalea, her skin-tone is breathtaking. Keep up the good work, and whether or not you want to talk about my offer to help or not, I can't wait to see what you come out with next.

Like I said in the last update or the one before that most of the people who follow you (me included) know how long your projects usually take and it is well worth the wait but I understand that you wanted this to be more in line with your vision of short, constant updates, as far as I am concerned I am psyched for the next update so don't beat yourself up about it! You are almost to the finish line with this thing and you will be providing all of us more hours of entertainment with quality content - I think this is an overall win for us all :)
