Click here for the lycanthrope class.
We're continuing spooky month with a collection of subclasses for my first homebrew class, the lycanthrope. I released this class back in March with 2 subclasses (the curse of the bat which you can see on the original post, and the curse of the wolf which I've included here), but I thought Halloween was a good excuse to make some more. So here is the curse of the deep and the curse of the reptile, and for those of you who aren't patrons, this will also be your first introduction to the curse of the wolf. I've decided to release the curse of the wolf publicly despite it being patron exclusive before in order to encourage more people to try the class.
The curse of the deep is a very Lovecraftian concept which I thought was fitting for Halloween. This curse turns the lycanthrope into a grotesque horror made of body parts from various sea animals, rather than one specific type of animal like the other lycanthrope subclasses. It would obviously work best for those playing a nautical campaign, however most of its features will be invaluable on land as well. The curse of the reptile, meanwhile, turns you into a gigantic scaled beast, and unlike the other curses also makes you an absolute powerhouse. Those who choose this curse will be able to take and deal a lot of punishment while they're on the hunt.
You can get the PDF versions of these curses over on my patron dropbox, however the curse of the wolf can only be accessed in the PDF for the full lycanthrope class. I'm not sure if I'll be able to get any more spooky content out before Halloween arrives, so if I don't see you again before the holiday comes, I hope you have a horrifying and/or happy time 🎃
