Kuro, here. It's been a while since I've updated ya'll on the 5YL FNF Mod collab with Team Neutron. Both Jake's team and our's have a lot of stuff going on, and while this Mod is meant to tie into 5YL for extra promotion, we want this project to be worked on for fun. We're still dedicated to it, but it's got that back-burner progress going on.
Still, I was able to throw this together. The Mod opens up similar to the end of Episode 1, but quickly becomes an alternative timeline to 5YL, as Eon shows up towards the beginning to try to defeat Ben & Danny before the whole story even beginds.
It re-uses audio from the Motion Comic, but after Eon arrives, uses temp audio by myself just for timing. This isn't the full scene, either, but it's what I've been able to put together in my downtime between projects.
The dialogue may need tweaking as this implies that Ben is already aware of Danny being from another dimension before that conversation naturally happens (and Rook is also absent), but to keep the pacing of the opening cutscene brief so you can just straight into gameplay, I'm not too worried about it.
This animatic will be sent to the animators for completed animation.
