Hey guys,
This is an unusual post, but I feel like it's many lifetimes worth of advice. I couldn't have said it better myself. I try to give advice similar to this to all the younger people that ask me, "how do I get to XYZ?"
I wish someone had given me this advice at 20. I had the intense micro discipline, rose very quickly and then let it fade in my mid-20s because I got too comfortable. There are a few other factors, but this main factor is unquestionable. It took me 5 years after that to find it again. In some ways, I'm glad it happened that way because I feel that the second time around, I also discovered that you can get it back however many times you lose it-- you just gotta get in the game.
I really felt like I needed to share this. Andy is a little kooky if you listen to some of his tinfoil episodes. I tend to skip those but his message in these direct ones is so amazing that it's worth a listen.
I hope you find value in this! I know that it renews my energy whenever I give him a listen.
