Sequencer Keyboard Sneak Peak

This video is turning out to be a mammoth task! Here is the un narrated build part of the video for anyone interested! I still need to pop together all of the schematics and code. and do a performance with it.

The full video and documentation of the build will be up on sunday! however if i get it done before i will put it up here first.

And contrary to this video i do usually spray outside! just it was pitch black and the video wasnt being picked up! ha. all will be apparent when the narration and annotations get onto it.

And! the keyboard function is pretty cool. its high note priority! so it plays like any monophonic keyboard pretty much!  was in two minds to make a row of internal preset pots to make it as a set major scale (or whatever tune you want) out! but you can do that yourselves :D

ps theres some serious chewing gum mastication going on. warning

2 rows to control 2 different things, if you just want to control 1 set of things then yes! you can remove a row of pots :)

Please help me to understand : Why is there two row of POTs ? Can we remove one ? :))

the arduino will work fine if you plug Vin into the 5v... or even wire the 5v out of frequency central into 5v pin on the arduino. thats after the voltage regulator!

In hindsight it looks like the Frequency central PCB already has the 78L05 on the pcb so i assume this does the same job. Nice!

This is awesome, looking to build one of these for my eurorack soon. I was looking at the datasheet for the 78L05 which regulates the voltage to 5v but requires at least 6.7v is my understanding. Id like to power it using the 5v output from the Frequency Central PCB you use. Is it possible to simply remove the the voltage regulator and connect directly to the 5v line on the frequency central PCB

it will even work plugged into your laptop if you wanted ha

Look Mum No Computer

yes indeed it will!

Look Mum No Computer

Hah! That looks like it would work in a 9vDC setup as well :-D
