MTG Strixhaven - Archway Commons

With the Strixhaven: A Curriculum of Chaos book coming out in a little over a month, and as an avid fan of Magic the Gathering where we can already explore the world of Strixhaven, I thought I would give a crack at recreating some of the locations found in the card art as battle maps!

First things first, I want to credit the MTG team at wizards and especially the original artist of the card art, Piotr Dura. He is an amazing artist who has done a lot of work for Magic. Here are his instagram and artstation links if you want to check him out:

For those unfamiliar, Strixhaven is a massive school found on the plane of Arcavios. It is home to five colleges, each founded by elder dragons and each specializing in different fields of arcane study. From mysterious professors, to mage sporting events, to an underground cult, this MTG set had lots to explore and I am sure there will be lots more in the upcoming book.

Similar to when I recreate Divinity maps, there is a free versions attached to this post.
