Mount Kolasi Crematorium
Added 2021-07-31 22:22:29 +0000 UTCTwice a year, during the winter and summer solstices, the people of Myelene make pilgrimage to Mount Kolasi, an active volcano within the Everguilt Basin. There, they conduct the ritual known as the Great Burning, where dozens of the recently deceased are fed to the Crematorium within the mountain as an offering to the god Seethus. The citizens of Myelene believe that Mount Kolasi itself is a scar that the land bears as a result of the sins of the original peoples. As penance, they regularly offer the remains of their dead, hoping to atone for these great and mystic wrongdoings.
