For those unfamiliar, The Tear of the Goddess is an item in the game League of Legends. Recently it was featured in the cinematic linked above as an artifact found by an explorer named Ezreal. Usually this item is used in game on characters that require a lot of mana to spam their skills so you see it on mostly mages. Hopefully we get to see some more cool item lore fro the Riot team soon!
When Ezreal picks up the Tear, bolts of energy streak down the platform as thousands of eyes appear, all voidlings {insect like creatures), and begin climbing up the ledges.
