Thanks so much for your votes in my latest poll!!! I'm super glad to hear that Slenderman is such a big hit- I've been wanting to do a video on him for a while now, considering how prevalent he was in pop culture when I was growing up. I've decided to release that video early next month so I have some extra time to research and capture footage- it's looking like it might be on the more hefty side since there's a lot of ~lore~ there.

In the meantime, I'm going to release a slightly shorter video to cap off this month!

Killswitch!

Despite how popular video game creepypastas are (or rather WERE back in like, 2014) I never see Killswitch get any love! I was obsessed with this story as a kid, and much like the Polybius myth, was 100% convinced it was real. It's the *supposed* story of an old game, of which only 500 copies were produced, causing internet denizens to obsessively hunt it down to uncover it's secrets. It's really unique, and perhaps even more interesting than the story itself is it's origins- like many of these old creepypasta stories, the exact origins and how the internet legend came to be is murky.

The video should be out soon, before the end of the month! In the meantime while the Slender video is in progress, let me drop this rudimentary timeline of events here! Creating rough timelines like this is helpful to get a basic grip on how the character was created and how it gradually fell from grace- I hope to cover all of these events in the video :D
