Changing my payout currency
Added 2025-02-18 10:16:37 +0000 UTCEverytime Patreon sends me USD, Paypal takes a 5% conversion fee to make them into euros. Patreon only takes a 2,5% fee when people pay in a different currency, so I changed my payout currency to euros.
According to Patreon, it does not affect current patrons, so nothing should change for you. But since the normal conversion rate between USD and euros is around 0,9, I changed the price of the tiers in euros to 9 and 4,5 euros instead of $10 and $5 to avoid a price increase.
People can still pay in any currency supported by Patreon, the tier price being in euros changes nothing.
