Ayane Muto Line Art & Sketches

It’s the catgirl solo Ayane Muto, my OC for a Cyberpunk Red campaign (which takes place in 2077)! She has cyberware cat ears and tails, and techhair so her sets her hair shorter on missions x3 She also has a shotgun fitted in a popup weapon mount in her cyberarm so she can’t wear long sleeves xD I did sooo much research for this piece xD

Personality: Usually really agreeable and does what she’s told. Has been called naive more than once and has somewhat of an idealistic moral compass

Born into a family subordinate to the powerful Fujiwara clan, Ayane had a relatively comfortable upbringing as her parents received a steady stream of jobs as edgerunners, until they were betrayed one day; framed by a rival exec. An unfortunate collateral in someone else’s ambition, Ayane was only 11 when her parents decided to disappear to keep her and her older sister Kotone safe from retribution. Not as self-reliant as her sister and wasn’t good at much except looking cool and being good company, Ayane hated asking Kotone for money and grew to throw herself at people like a stray cat, getting by owing to the kindness (and oftentimes exploitation) from others. Because of this she found herself involved in riskier and riskier jobs, making many friends and just as many enemies in her wake. 

Partially due to her tendency to rely on others, she usually thinks the best of most people. Coupled with her naive and idealistic outlook, many are quick to think less of her at the start. But whether in splatters of chrome and flesh or in the smoky, neon-drenched backrooms, she found out she’s at least good at a few things, and those talents have kept her alive this whole time. 

She has a thing for cats, and sports a set of cat ears and tails when not on a job (unless the job requires them). Favoring neon or light colors, she is usually in a bodysuit, stockings, and boots, with a jacket or hoodie on top. She has a set of goggles with low light/IR/UV enhancements that is fashioned into a cat mask.
