The HUNTER 1.0 b

Hey, everybody!

So, I've finished building the new version of Hunter.
The main purpose of this build is to demonstrate a new level of optimization and change the basic structure of the game to have fewer problems with content adaptation in the future.

The game has been ported to a new version of the engine (from version 5.0 to version 5.3) and many features of the game world have undergone changes.

The only problem that remains unsolved is the temporary artifacts when quickly turning the camera on the main character. This is especially noticeable in the shadows. This problem is related to the peculiarities of rendering and I had to choose between normal compilation of objects and the range of drawing. I chose the golden mean and in the future this problem will be solved by technical updates with the development of the game engine.

In this version completely replaced the control system of the main character as well as the hero himself.
The main character customization is available in the start menu and currently has a stripped down version and will be refined and improved later.
Now its main goal is to provide a more advanced version of character customization than it was before.

Customization of the control system is available in the main menu. I made some new features and fixed a problem with key reassignment.

The character's needs system has also undergone changes. Now it is more balanced and optimized.
At the moment I have disabled some features (like alcohol and toxin action) so that they are not misleading, because these settings will still undergo changes and change some of their values.

However, I think you will notice all the changes with optimization and graphics. A lot of work has been done and more than 80% of graphics and animations have been replaced.
Perhaps there will be some bugs, but without them you can not in the development. It is impossible to keep track of everything :)

But again, the graphics were not replaced completely, just compiled differently. New customizations of materials, textures, sounds and animations were made based on the new objects and interaction with them.

In this version, I disabled all quests and Android. This is due to the fact that the development of the plot requires a number of actions that can not be done gradually.
Having the experience of previous parts, I realized that blocked quests mislead the player. Therefore, I disabled their display in order not to redo all the work again in the future.

In addition, Android as well as the main character has undergone major changes and I do not have enough free time to make a temporary plug for Android work, which will have to be replaced in the future.
So I've disabled its display until the savages are finished.

Anyway, I'm still working on the savages and it won't be long before we can see the full-fledged village in action.
At this point it was important to correct the project to make it work more correctly in the future.

As I mentioned earlier I refused to use the launcher, because the security system of Windows constantly complained about viruses that were not there. This was due to the fact that special certification keys were required.
Therefore the project is now available as a ZIP file on the server.

I'm having the same issue - do we have a solution for this yet?

I downloaded the game and get an error message saying "Out of video memory trying to allocate a rendering resource. Make sure your video card has the minimum required memory, try lowering the resolution and/or closing other applications that are running. Exiting...
