Instead of progressing toward equality, these laws push communities into silence, criminalizing self-expression and perpetuating inequality. The fight for recognition and acceptance continues, but the struggle for freedom and justice remains as urgent as ever.
In my country and many others, we no longer feel safe. We are no different; we are not a difference, we are the essence of life itself. I don't like being political, but as an artist, it's better than being apolitical. I’m not ashamed, I’m not afraid, and I urge you not to fear differences.
When we are not lucky enough to be born into good circumstances, life becomes a hell for us. Let’s work together to turn this hell into a heaven.
