Avoiding mockery, shame, and lyrical insults aplenty makes up the day-to-day for Becca, this perfectly normal, average teen finding herself the local magnet for every petty or childish nickname known to mankind. It's gotten to the point her only desire in life is to go one school day without someone commenting on her glasses, braces, hairline, or posture.
Her only solace in life is that whatever's been causing the disappearance of people around town is unlikely to come for her next, why should it? She's just Becca.
