Hi Alex, I have the same car with 20” rims, I wouldn’t move to a 18s. I don’t thing you will really see that much performance improvements for the cost of the 18’s plus tires. Just my opinion.

Should I change the wheels on my daily driven 981 Boxster S that currently has 20" Porsche Sport Techos? I'm considering downsizing to 18s for the performance and lightness gains. Any suggestions?

Currently driving a Lexus IS350 and looking at a first or second year RC-F in the next 6 months. Zach, with your somewhat recent drive in a ISF with modified suspension, do you feel a street oriented Ohlins coil setup could fix the heavy weight and feel of the car, while retaining its ‘lexusness’? Alternatively, what other options should I look at with a max ceiling of $50k with an emphasis on fun and reliability? Daily driven with an occasionally canyon drive and probably no track days.
