Anatomy practices (cjc)

Some anatomy practices! Sometimes I want to draw but I'm uninspired, and drawing some studies makes me feel productive.
But right now, since  I'm working in a CJC +18 comic, I'm  practicing the male anatomy again. Because these guys are buff and I'm not very good drawing muscles💦

I'm trying to make their bodies look a bit different too, but I'm a huge fan of the dorito shape and its hard to not make them the same body type hahaha. But I always try to draw some of their body parts differently. I hope it's noticeable.

(Lately I found a color palette for Caesar's hair that I really like... I want to mention that too...)

It's funny, now that I think about it, when I was still an art student I tried to avoid drawing male characters as much as I could, hahaha. I wasn't good with them. First they were too effeminate, then when I tried to draw them more manly they were ugly. I had an art teacher who joked a lot about that 🙃💦

So even if now I draw men a lot, I'm still self conscious and I question myself all the time. Even more when I'm trying to make them look hot...

PS: Hey but that art teacher told me that I draw good looking men now! That was a relief.

PSS:  Want to point this, some poses are taken from Pinterest photos, some poses are taken from artist Silverjow, who knows more about male muscles than any anatomy book. Tried to tweak the proportions to my tastes and change the pose a bit, but still, I want to mention it!

'Not very good at drawing muscles', she says, as I add these to my reference folder. (Also goddamn that Caesar smirk is sending me, stupid sexy Italian.)
