2022-06-08 00:46:21 +0000 UTCIf the idea of a half dungeon crawler, half school life jrpg where you decide how to spend the free time you’re not fighting evil manifestations of the human consciousness with your own scary inner monster, and solid writing and characters (for the most part) sounds interesting, then hell yeah you should! It’s one of my personal favorite game franchises! It’s an anthology series, so you can start literally anywhere without prior knowledge. One of my favorite aspects is the deep dive into different aspects of humanity and issues we tend to have as a collective. It’s an older series so the farther back you go the more dated the graphics and some gameplay mechanics are, but I don’t think it’s necessarily a bad thing. Tbh I think it’s good to go in without too much prior knowledge. (Pssst Goodwin! This is me putting out yet another sign into the universe that you should play P5)

2022-06-07 17:16:14 +0000 UTCChika is the only main character so far who I would not describe as an overall "good kid", although I do root for her success, she is just very much so a full on troll who can also be pretty selfish and ignorant at times. Don't get me wrong I adore her character and she is essential to the series dynamic and comedy, but the main reason why is probably because she is the only one in the room who doesn't have a "nice" disposition or is constantly showing off her good traits like the others, and I love her for it.

The actual title of the show based on the original Japanese title is "Kaguya Wants to be Confessed To: The Geniuses' War of Love and Brains" For the 2nd Season, they are crossing out the subtitle and adding a "?" So the title card now reads: "Kaguya Wants to be Confessed To?: T̶h̶e̶ ̶G̶e̶n̶i̶u̶s̶e̶s̶'̶ ̶W̶a̶r̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶L̶o̶v̶e̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶B̶r̶a̶i̶n̶s̶". The sad girl at the beginning is the subtitle feeling distraught about her removal. So why the modification? You'll find out soon. The english title is also modified for this season. A question mark is also added so the english title is "Kaguya-sama: Love is War?"
