I don't know if you noticed but the guy who caught Mogami in his little capsule is the "pokemon trainer" guy from the end of S1 who was controlling all those spirits :D And Minori's father was the one who donated all that money to the Psycho Helmet Cult.

He actually takes the harder road by drawing the conclusion that since the world is cruel more people need to put more good in the world.
