2022-03-03 06:14:05 +0000 UTCI feel like this episode specifically relates to me and hits me because still at this point in my life (22) I feel like I'm asking myself in the my head still what do I want to do with my life despite having a full time job as a software engineer and having a girlfriend of 4 years. I feel like it's hard to really find that start of what you really love doing later in life when you have less time and feel more comfort doing nothing in the times I'm not working. Mob relates to me in several other ways I feel but I'll wait until more episodes pass to put my two cents in on some more aspects of his character.

2022-03-03 04:06:18 +0000 UTCNah, there isn’t really any sort of back story for how Mob got so strong or good with his powers. That’s not really the point of this series. In most shows you’d definitely get that focus and understanding of how hard the MC worked to get where they are; in this case it’s treated more like, “in a world where people are born with supernatural abilities, it only makes sense for someone to be born with the strongest of those abilities. Let’s follow that character and show their perspective/problems/growth/etc. instead.”

Can you seriously think of another character that can convince someone that working for him at about a third of the Japanese minimum wage is actually beneficial?
