An interesting thing you may notice on rewatches: When you view the very first scene, you're seeing the intro, at least the first bit, through the eyes of Powder. Her singing is most prominent, and more importantly, you can see the flashes of those scribbles you see with Jinx in current episodes. It indicates that, Powder always had this sort of 'issue' growing up, and it was just a part of her, some unnamed mental illness that's just kinda lingered on her since childhood. I love this, because it shows that Powder didn't just "go crazy" when she became Jinx. She always had these sorta issues in her shadow, but while she was with family, with all their flaws, and even with Mylo's berating, they kept her demons in check, so to speak. It made her condition more manageable to the point where it never really arose or became a significant point in the story. But they came to the forefront when she became Jinx, unable to find proper coping with this trauma she induced, with all the affirmations of herself by herself and others being confirmed. The trauma simply forced that mental illness to take hold and control. It's a common thing. Trauma can make mental illnesses completely overwhelm people, or even spawn them, such with PTSD, which may explain why we never witnessed her in this state prior to the traumatic incident.

the girl on the ship wasnt Vi and she was actually killed by Jinx. She sees her as Vi at first because of the pink hair and afterwards they show her actual face. Also she was way shorter than Jinx so no way that's her :P

Just to help ya out on a few things you missed; the girl that Jinx shot at the beginning WAS actually Vi and she got resurrected offscreen with Hextech and taken to jail after the raid. Also Caitlyn is like 25 and Jayce and her have been married for 5 years. Also, Jinx and Powder are two different characters, Powder hasn’t shown up yet. ☺️👍

Not just a river. They are technically separated by a massive canal and are technically on two separate continents from each other. The area that is now Piltover was once a vast citystate/nation called Zaun for thousands of years and was a landbridge between the two continents. Then some entrepreneur saw the potential to dig through the land to connect the two seas. The result was the canal and during its construction some accident occurred and caused big fissures to open up and basically sunk most of Zaun and rose up the land that Piltover is now built upon. Piltover isn't just a more prosperous part of a city with a river in it. Its a historical representation of a nation that was destroyed and engulfed by an entrepreneurial force. Which is pretty cool in my mind.

The girl Jinx shot wasn't Vi, I think the animators should have made it clearer but you can see it's someone different who looks enough like Vi to trigger Jinx's flashbacks.

Just realized that Silco says he wants to create "a nation of Zorn". That's very fitting considering that "Zorn" means "anger" in German. Really fits with everything this guy is doing, like creating purple fluid that turns people into monsters temporarily. He really carries the anger within him since that one encounter with Vander. In a way similar to Powder/Jinx. Let's build a nation of anger!

It seems you got confused, the pink hair girl of the "blimp heist" was not VI and did not survive. The groups as this episode ends are Silco's group (including Jinx), the Firelights (green hoverboard guys including not VI girl who got shot), the enforcers (Piltover), Caitlyn (no longer oficially an enforcer) and Vi (who we don't know anything othar than she is in prison and that Silco told Jinx "Your sister is gone")

Yes, it’s so sad. Powder thinks Vi died hating her for what she did. Vi knows that Powder is out there, defenseless and with a monster like Silco and is thinking that Vi just abandoned her.

just to clarify because i don't think the show made it too clear, Jinx did not see Vi, Vi has been in prison since Marcus took her there instead of killing her. Silco thinks she was killed but Marcus actually just put her in prison

The girl Jinx shot in the beginning wasn’t Vi, just someone who had the same hair. Because of Jinx’s physiological trauma, she sometimes gets those flashes of false or past images. Also I wasn’t sure if you getting the names wrong was a “Flish Floch” type of joke or genuine. But Jayce’s partner’s name is Viktor, not Ivan. And the little scientist guy is Heimerdinger. 😂

I'm usually so annoyed by how well you predict things, it's so refreshing to see you get absolutely everything wrong. ;) Most you'll figure out, but here's something that's really understated; this show is actually a COUNTER to your idea about advancement in society's capabilities benefiting everyone at once; Piltover and the Undercity are separated by a River, which was previously the largest source of external trade. However, once the Hexgates started operating, the River became obsolete and - since the Undercity couldn't use the hexgates - suddenly there was even wider gap between the two.

Also Jinx’s entrance is on of my favorite scenes in the show. I love her new design (well technically it’s been in League of Legends since like the early 2010s or something but it was new to me since I’ve never played League) But yeah she just looks so damn cool. We only see Vi for like a split second at the end but I love her aged up design too.

If you remember we met Caitlyn in episode 2 when she was younger. I think Jayce is like a decade older then her + he’s known her since she was a child so no romance between them lol. Also if you remember Caitlyn’s mother, Mrs. Keirman discarded Jayce after he got in trouble with the consul. Guess she switched up once Jayce’s technology became successful.

just started the reaction but it seems like you don't recognize Caitlyn, she was the girl who was about Vi's age, like 14, who was friends with Jayce, but we see now she's an adult as there's been a time skip. her mom was also on the council and Jayce's sponsor.

The timeskip is perfect. All of a sudden Caitlyn, Jinx/Powder, etc. are way more fleshed out characters now that we got there childhood backstories. The age ups also mean major glow ups…holy shit there are too many hotties in this show to count.
