2021-12-15 03:04:36 +0000 UTCi never noticed Bakugo using \his leg\ to save jiro till the next week when the next chapter dropped because i had been told he'd done so XD so i was freaking out because HE SAVED THEM WITH HIS LEG/FOOT WITH A KICK NOT WITH A BLAST and then was just like \i'll save u u save me and we'll win\ like DUDE UR SO FRICKEN COOL AHHHH CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT AT ITS FINEST!!! bro i'm so excited for deku's fight AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH \oh god i almost spoiled something i forgot this ep starts the fight and that the actual fight happens next ep XD\ what?? "she loves spooky things its kind of her thing" WHAT??? in the sub he translated it for shinso to mean that she found deku terrifying....

Anyway, Bakugo is a big inspiration when it comes to achieving your goals and in terms of improving yourself. He has been my one of my favs (if not my fav) for a long time and it's just nice to see that my guesses on how great and deep of a character he can be were correct. I can't wait for the next battle, though! Very very exciting stuff happening.

The Fruits Basket reactions are very cathartic for me in general, but I very much enjoy the deeper thought process you have. Not just for that series, but for MHA and other series. Maybe because they mirror the thoughts I have when watching the episodes on my own. Deku and Bakugo squad were able to notice his (very well) hidden traits that showed him to be a caring and passionate guy. This battle truly showcased his true motivations and ability to take charge when he sees his goal so clearly.

I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend you do, I think it’s one of the best shows to come out this year and it’s something no one ( not even league of legends fans) expected to be as good as it was. It doesn’t require any previous knowledge of the game or the lore to get into. In fact it might probably be better going into it not knowing anything since u won’t know who the playable champions are and so they will all just be characters on an equal field

2021-12-14 04:23:09 +0000 UTCThe way Team Bakugo was operating sort of reminds me of how Hawks was catching villains from the Tokoyami flashback a couple episodes ago, with Hawks subduing villains and moving to the next target while his sidekicks are at his heels finishing the job. It might seem like a one-man show at first glance but everybody still has a role to play and you can't deny its efficiency.

So much so that I'd argue, if he'd played at the level we've seen him at before this episode, they actually would have lost badly. Sato is moments away from sacrificing himself to save Jiro and Sero, but Bakugo ends up saving all three while in the middle of taking a beating from Lizardy. Right after that, Bakugo rushes ahead, gets trapped, and needs Sato to break him free. After they have 2 in the bag, Jiro uses her quirk to point Bakugo towards Jack Mantis who is like a second away from turning Sero into a kebab. Then Sero uses his wits and the grenade to drop a pin on the most uncatchable person in the exercise. With no character growth Bakugo though... Sato gets glued. Bakugo gets welded. Sero gets kebabed. Jiro gets dropped off in a cage by a pair of floating hands. The end.

Yes, Bakugou was the star of this episode but the rest of the team members were not left behind and instead pulled up by Bakugou, just as you said. He boosted their confidence in an unexpected way and pushed them to work to their own best abilities. The class rivalry you commented on twords the beginning was spot on in my opinion. Back in high school, my 10th grade English class had a random rivalry with the other English class down the hall. In the end, we pushed eachother to do better on essays and exams. It was spontaneous and irrelevant to many people but this arc reminded me of those days and how much fun it was. Also, you are not alone. I too miss our boy Mirio. :')

The best I can do for now is the idea that if there's nobody around to be that person then maybe that's a sign that it needs to be us? Maybe there's an opportunity there. But that's WAYYY easier said than done.

2021-12-14 04:01:06 +0000 UTCMan, episodes like these make me appreciate bakugo so much as a character because even though he’s obviously very strong, it becomes apparent that what actually makes him so strong is his conviction. He’s come such a long way, it’s fun to look back and see some of the big moments for his character, like in one of the first episodes he actually says he wouldn’t be able to beat todoroki, but he never settled. I just love how his fundamental goals have never changed, but it’s so apparent how much he has grown and how much work he has put in. Also shoutout to sero in this episode, that move with the grenade was genius.

2021-12-14 04:00:08 +0000 UTCI can watch that Bakugo match a lot. The line in particular about " Our victory will be flawless 4-0 no injuries," I found really inspiring. Just the confidence to raise the bar as high as possible and not just win. I've definitely incorporated that in my life to set goals that are higher than what is expected of me and making them has boosted my confidence a lot.

Like you really feel how much of a domination they pulled when the fight ends and you see it's only the first half of the episode. I'm a little bit like Bakugou in how my motivations drive me and my competitiveness but sadly I wish I could pull wins out of my ass with willpower in sports.
