Korra episode 12 reaction (season 1 finale) extended version

Korra episode 12 reaction (season 1 finale) extended version

I'm shocked no one pointed this out. Early in the episode when Korra and Mako are hiding from Amon slasher style it is shown that Amon can 'sense' people based on their blood. He knew exactly where Korra was and dragged her out from her hiding spot using his blood bending. When Tarlok reaches for the glove and moves it to the fuel tank to blow up the boat there is no reason why Noatak can't sense what he is doing and feel his movements. You could say 'He just feels his brother moving and doesn't realise what he's going to do.' But I'd say that Noatak is a smart guy, he knows there's gloves back there, he knows where the fuel tank is. In the final frame before the explosion we see Noatak looking into the distance and he sheds a tear - he knew what Tarlok was going to do, and he had more than enough power to stop it. He chose to let it happen.

Am I the only one who would like to see him react to My hero acadamia??

DrowsyCody

Yes it does. Being part of this community is really great because its still so "small" that just gives it a more personal touch

Leander Leveringhaus

That intro must've taken forever

I think it says a lot about this community that the first patreon tier is $1 but the average contribution is $4.98

Jupiterninja

I'm so excited to be here and supporting you!!!!

Grace Lee

Very nicely put :) It reminds me of the classic Iroh line, "In the darkest times..."

Sooooo happy you finally got a patreon haha hopefully we can be your new (and only) job with these amazing edit's you keep bringing your audience. Can't wait to see how far your channel will go in the months to come! PS. I know you have a big list of recommendations to watch next after korra, and I know my recommendation might be passed over BUT maybe somewhere in the future you'd be willing to watch "The Boys" on amazon prime :)

So I think tarlok made a good decision but it probably wasn't the best decision. Tarlok can't harm anyone anymore but noatok could still be dangerous. If Noatok decided to not hide his power he could take over whatever he wanted and tarlok knew he couldn't let that happen. Also aang's quote at the end is reminiscent to God of highschool (not a spoiler) park mujin says "when a man is at his lowest you see who he truly is" or something like that. I'm sure quotes like that are repeated frequently but at their core they all make the same point. Throughout our lives we surround ourselves with things that give us our identity. When all those are stripped away you get to see the person for who they are. You get to see their morals and their values. Also if you're the one at your lowest and you no longer have what had made you you, then you have to reevaluate what's important and decide if you're strong enough to move forward. I'm curious to see what everyone else thinks. Lastly really happy you made a patreon. You're my favorite reactor because of how smart you are and how quickly you notice things. I hope this allows you to do this full time if that's what you want to do.
