完成版です。 ーーーーーーーーーーーーーーー 俺はこのアルバイトに申し込んだことを後悔していた。 もう時既に遅し、な状況だったんだけれども。 「イベント会場での某有名ゲームの人気モンスターの着ぐるみを着るお仕事です。会話は不要なので着ぐるみのアクター経験が無い方でもお申し込み可能です」 それは登録していたイベント運営系の派遣会社からの勤務の募集案件の１つだった。 それを見た俺は勤務日や会場などを先調べして、あのゲームのキャラクターになれる案件だと確信して申し込んで採用された。 そして俺の読みが当たり、演じるキャラクターはあのゲームのドラゴン型のモンスターだった。 そこまでは良かったのだが・・・ 勤務会場のバックヤードで仕事の内容のオリエンを受け、更衣室で目にしたものは、いわゆるふさふさした着ぐるみではなく、全身がラバー生地でできていたぴっちりしたものであった。 「ああ、ラバースーツを着るのって初めてですかね？」 少しためらう俺にクライアントの中年男性は話しかけてくる。 俺は軽く頷くと、クライアントは矢継ぎ早に話し続けた。 「着たら色々と価値観が変わりますよ。普段のプライベートならともかく、仕事で着れるなんてそうそう無いですからね。心配しなくてもこの着ぐるみはインフレータブル型なので身体のラインは浮き出たりしませんから。さぁ、アテンドしますので着ましょうね」 そこからの記憶は曖昧だった。 初対面の人に裸を見られてよほどテンパっていたのだろう。気が付いたときには俺はあのドラゴン型のモンスターの容姿に変わっていた。 「どうですか？　不思議な感覚でしょう。ラバーはその独特の質感と締め付けで第二の皮膚、なんて愛好者から呼ばれていたりするんですよ。その着ぐるみは見た目とは違って動きやすい構造にはなっていると思います。 さぁ、まずは動作テストも兼ねてお客様への告知で数十秒だけステージに上がってください。こちらです」 クライアントは半ば強引に俺をバックヤードから繋がっている舞台袖へと誘引していく。 そして俺はその時気付いてしまったんだ。 俺の股間部分のアレの輪郭が、くっきりと浮き上がっていることを・・・ ーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーー I regretted applying for this part-time job.
