Thank you to everyone who shared ideas after the pre-poll call! I've gathered the most compelling (and narratively viable for me) suggestions, and now it’s time to cast your vote.

Who would you like to see featured in the next Empire Rewritten character spotlight?

John Hunyadi – The ambitious young commander rising within Sigismund’s army. What drives the man who will one day become a legend?

Vlad Dracula – His name is myth, but what were his earliest days truly like? Step into the mind of a prince shaped by exile and war.

Helena Dragaš – Still under house arrest? This former regent is no passive widow. What thoughts stir behind the walls of her confinement?

Duke of Burgundy – Wealthy, cultured, and calculating. What games is he playing in the shadows of crusade and trade?

Friedrich III / Albrecht II von Habsburg – Europe’s next great dynasty begins to stir. A rare look inside the house that dominated our history.

The Servant with the Chamber Pot – A wildcard pick! The anonymous figure from Book One returns, what have they seen, and what do they know?

The Empire of Trebizond – Distant, fractured, but still imperial. Glimpse the other Byzantium at the edge of the Black Sea.

The Mamluk Sultanate – How does Cairo view the crusade gathering in Europe? A perspective from the south, powerful and watching.

Note: Skanderbeg will appear in the very next chapter as part of the Albanian update, and the Karaman Beylik will take the stage further down the line, both already part of the main story arc!
