A 2022 update
Added 2022-02-21 00:25:06 +0000 UTCWith restrictions lifted, Confuzzled 2022 is going ahead at the end of May. Having been a dealer there from 2015-19, it's really exciting to finally get back into conventions this year!
It was lockdown that halted all of my momentum on my handmade custom sculptures, something I'm aiming to reboot again this year. Further more I hope to turn a corner with the them and start using a 3D pen to create them instead of the very *unshippable without damage* Sculpey or Fimo clay that I have previosuly used.
This means a lot of hard work for the next 3 months in experimenting with a new medium with the 3D pen, finishing up at least 3 sculptures that are on my desk, casting them, and creating saleable pieces, as well as all of the other goodies that I plan to have ready for Confuzzled 2022.
My day job will continue to get in the way of all of these aspirations, but only up to the point where I achieve superstar status and can do creative work full time instead! That's the goal, so I will continue to burn my candle at both ends to achieve it. To that end, this Patreon and all of you here; every moment I can spend once the working day is done, I turn my hand to creative work and beam it up-close-and-personal to you all. Never have I had so many things I'm so positive about getting created be held to such a finite deadline! Seriously, as important as my RL job is, my creative work has always had to be relegated to my free time, so I am working a 9am-12am day everyday to pay the bills and slot in the creative work. Thank you all so much for inching me that bit closer to the full time art goal!
I'll provide updates on the physical sculpts as I ready them + some big news if all continues to go to plan. I'm NDA'd to say more on that for the moment, much excite though 🤗

thank you! sculpting is very niche, never something I ever thought i'd get into but it is very enjoyable to see a piece 'for real' and not on a screen. Physical pieces need to have a function imo, and much of the 3D sculpts that are furry are character related but few and far between with folks that make them. Also, not a lot of interest in sculpts still, even the 3d printed stuff, folks would rather have a 3D file or a 2D piece of art. So making sculpts that appeal to folks if you're looking to get them sold either need to be individual as commissions or ornimental pieces of some sort like Missmonster creates i think! Still trying to work out the market.

Commissioners must be so happy, you literally bring their OC's into 3D and with what detail and skill! The Aska is mindblowing with the details! I wish for you to be able to do art full time, I would love to get a sculpt like this myself !
