Thanks gentlemen. Great guest & very relevant conversation & review of how the Overlords think. . . . The Chapo Trap House podcast covered this recently & Menaker & the others covered the same ground as you to a large extent. One interesting insight they had is that since they covered the Hillary podcast (comedy with clowns, meeting Contrapoints) a year or more ago, they said Obama came off as "less human" & less able to actually interact or converse with the few people allowed in the door who aren't Masters of the Universe than Hillary!! That is quite an achievement! If I believed in a soul I would certainly consider Obama (who I stupidly voted for in '08 not knowing he would bring a 3rd & 4th Bush-lite admin in, leading to Trumpian White Nationalist "populist" victory) . . . well, Mr. OBomber has less soul than the smallest tree frog if such a thing exists!

Obama never actually said anything ever. He just talked in a very pleasing way an awful lot. During his presidency I was listening to a psychology podcast and someone on it mentioned that a talented orator will short-circuit the critical thinking facilities in most people. After that I stopped listening to political speeches and just read transcripts. Obama's always contained very little substance. But they were crafted so that anyone could interpret the words to mean almost anything they wanted them to. I guess that was the secret to his success.

Excellent. Then I watched the Hasan Minhaj interview with Obama and same thing. Hasan actually asks him some serious questions without being too aggressive and Obama just talks and talks and says nothing. He talks about "we have to" do this thing or that thing as if "we" didn't elect HIM to do those fucking things and as if HE didn't try to talk US down every time WE demanded better from him and others in power.
