Thanks, Tim! That's very kind of you, much appreciate your feedback! I'm adjusting now, should be posted ASAP. Hope you've enjoyed the series!

Priapus of Milet

Hi. Finally got around to reading this series. It's great! I do have a comment about the dialogue on page 30 of the graphic novel and it seems some of the words are not the actual word that should be there. When they are entering the lab and the larger guy asked about the flying robot working or not the other guy responds, "It's working, for it would have killed you by now!" "for" should be "or" . Then he answers "Well that's not very reinsuring." It should be reassuring.

Yes, that's what I had in mind as well, but in a total different way in the end ;o)

Priapus of Milet

Thanks, Folk! Yes, you're right! Somehow they always pop up in my work, and always in the same round form. Don't ask my why :o) Yes, I needed a scene where Chen could prove himself, next step is him growing closer to Jack, and now that dialogue is involved, in a more subtle way than in my precious series ;o) See hout that's going to work out...

Priapus of Milet

Love that enemy drone. You used the usual round type from the spaceship and modified it with a few weird and agressive ornaments. And Chen shows talents which Jack obviously lacks! Wonder what else he is hiding!

Folk

Thanks, Folk! That's great to hear, and yes, that's how it works. The dialogue plays while I'm working on the images. Adding them to the graphic novel seemed the obvious next step. Like introducing the talkies after decades of silent movies. It's still a bit of an experiment, it changes a lot, but I'm getting the hang of it. Glad to hear you're enjoying the results! :o)

Priapus of Milet

Keep going with your graphic novel! When your mail comes, I first turn to the gallery to appreciate the richness of your pictures and interprete what might be going on, then I read the graphic novel. It adds so much information and colour to your work! Of course you must have a scipt of your scenery and while you work it a dialogue may play through your head. Here it is, written down. I'm enjoying it very much!

Yes, I think Brenda is a rebel at heart. Hard drinker and chain-smoking, but a rising army star :o)

Priapus of Milet

Cigar smokin 4 star Brenda, has that Samuel L Jackson vibe goin on. I feel, Brenda should raise a clenched fist and shout 'Power to the People'. David, thank you. Can't wait for the next instalment!

BuckeeeP

Thanks! Much appreciated! Yes, it's a great addition. Still figuring out how to work it out more efficiently, but we're getting there :o)

Priapus of Milet

Dear David, fantastic illustrations again! You really are the best... The main character looks fantastic, totally my type. The graphic novel with texts is very useful, because it makes the story even clearer. I can't wait for the next series!

Robert

Thanks, Folk! Much appreciated! :o) Yes, you're right, the text adds a lot. The font type and balloons are based on the Blake and Mortimer comics. Always my favourites. I hesitated a long time to do this; it forces me to think more ahead and plan the plot in advance. It's much more work :o|

Priapus of Milet

The new graphic novel is very nice! I like your use of a hand-written font type as it is. For the reader it is both an insight how YOU interprete the scene and the speech bubbles add life to the pictures. I love the line "I'll show you where I can park my junk!" No doubt he will! Looking forward for more!

Folk

Thanks! I'll keep that in mind for the next time. I base the fond type and size on the Blake and Mortimer books, the page format (A4) is equal to the originals, so I guess it is OK...

Priapus of Milet

I love the addition of text to the graphic novel. My only note would be that an all capital letters font would improve readability.
