Added 2024-07-04 15:20:06 +0000 UTCI'm not sure if/when I'll get to release this one officially, so for now I'm gonna give it to you guys. I love this song and it kinda contains my whole soul in it, but I have a difficult time interacting with it because it taps into my most overwhelming persistent fears. Recorded with my friend Aaron Roche in November 2022, he helped my find an effective way to present the song. He played basically everything on it (piano, trombone, some guitar) and I appreciate his lens so much--his approach helped to elevate the song and the feeling I was trying to impart, rather than hindering it and burying it beneath a bunch of production and unnecessary instrumentation. I hope someday it gets a wider release. Love y'all, take care of yourselves and each other.
