EDIT: I found out that the members were arrested but later cleared of all charges in part because the police didn't pick up on their obviously bogus passes

For others, they are openly on board with it (you can hear some in the crowd cheer for each salute played on the pod). For average, non-far-right folks, I think normalcy bias is the biggest issue. The idea that the people in charge of their country are fascistic, and that they let it happen, is so outside of our normal experience and most people's ideas of what is possible today that they simply won't believe it until it's forced into their faces. And even then, many people still won't accept it as real. This is a large part of why people allow genocides to happen to begin with - they simply can't believe it's happening so they live as if it isn't. Awful but true.

I know this sometimes feels like fighting a wildfire by like.. spitting on it or something, but it really is the best starting place for most of us and it usually makes me feel better about humanity to be around like-minded people trying to do good.

Especially with the joke that Elon and his failed businesses has become? I keep trying to find evidence we're still winning. Because the loudest voices aren't the majority of voices. Most people want to be loved and love others. Did you get any evidence that would suggest this?

The pod does this overall but he has a unique approach to shining a light on horrific things happening while managing to make us laugh, yet without turning it all into a joke.
