2022-05-05 22:53:17 +0000 UTCThe Jesuits have been a huge part of Christian conspiracies since they formed, in part, because they are an order created by the Counter Reformation, to, well, counter the Reformation, using education and other missionary work. This probably led to a lot of Protestants treating them as possible subversives, especially in Catholic ruled regions, with large Protestant populations, which the Jesuits would target for the missionary work. Seems, like a lot of old European grudge matches, this has now morphed into near fantasy realms of control and infiltration, that I am pretty sure they don't have, and probably have never had.
